WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Manager of the Mallorca Fisheries Local Action Group (GALP Majorca)

DESCRIPTION

The Manager of the Majorca Fishing Local Action Group (GALP Mallorca) directs the entity, coordinates the technical and administrative team and is ultimately responsible for energizing the participatory process and applying the Participatory Local Development Strategy approved within the framework of the FEMPA structural fund with special relevance and making an impact on the fishing and maritime sector of the island of Mallorca.

FUNCTIONS
Yo.
Direct and coordinate the technical team of the entity.
ii.Streamlining and managing grant files within the framework
of the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (FEMPA).
iii. Achieve the objectives set by the Governing Council of the entity.
iv.Direct the ordinary activity of the entity.
v. Inform and give technical advice to entrepreneurs, freelancers and companies.
came. Advise on the financing needs of the different projects.
vii. Capture and channel local development initiatives likely to be perceived by FEMPA.
viii. Participate and supervise the participatory process framed in participatory local development.
ix.Stimulate the groups to carry out joint projects.
x. Carry out the follow-up and evaluation of the Strategy of
Participatory Local Development.
xi. Carry out the entity's own projects.
xii. Others related to the position of Manager and any derived from the entity's bylaws.

WORKING DAY

35 hours per week / Flexible hours.

MANDATORY MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

University studies of degree, diploma or degree III.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

to. Availability of own vehicle.
b. Availability to travel.
c. Flexible schedule.
d. Place of residence: Majorca.

PONDERABLE MERITS

to. Graduate and postgraduate studies related to the fields of Biology, Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Economics and business and law.
b.Work experience in the fishing and maritime sector.
c. Management experience in projects and aid lines derived from the European structural funds, with special emphasis on the FEP/FEMP/FEMPA.
d.Collaboration with OIGs in the preparation of documentation for the management and payment of aid.
and. Experience in preparing local development strategies
participatory and/or in the revitalization of local groups following the
LEADER system.
F. Level C1 of Catalan language.
g.B2 level of English language.
